DAN FRANKEL: Speaking of broadcast news (or news-ishness) moving to new platforms, on Tuesday my good friend Robert Rose is premiering on YouTube a special El Salvador-focused episode of his long-running weekly syndicated series, Raw Travel. (The trailer below links to the episode starting Tuesday.) Rose and his production crew, who spent extensive time recently in Ukraine, visited El Salvador last summer, capturing the vibe under President Nayib Bukele’s iron-fisted rule. Rob, who’s used to working in war zones, said he won’t go back to El Salvador anytime soon. “I wouldn't feel safe from the El Salvadoran government, and I have zero confidence that my own government would make any effort to intercede on my behalf should something go sideways.”
